Ultrasonic level transducers

Ultrasonic level transducers are compact measuring instruments that contain an ultrasonic transmitter and an electronic module. The sensor within the device emits an ultrasonic high frequency series of pulses (20 kHz … 200 kHz) that are reflected by the surface of the liquid or bulk powder - / granular solids to be tested. The transmitter retrieves the reflected waves that are subsequently processed by the electronic module.
The ultrasonic sensors can be affected by changed sound speed because of incidental humidity or temperature and pressure variations. But correction factors can be applied to improve measurement accuracy.


Application field: non-contact level measuring of liquid or bulk powder - / granular solids in reservoirs, tanks, open or sealed containers, silos or open channels.


Measuring ranges: 0 ÷ 2 m; 0 ÷ 6 m; 0 ÷ 10 m; 0 ÷ 20 m.
Available models output signal: 0 / 10 V; 4 / 20 mA; 4 / 20 mA + HART protocol.
The case contains signalling LED; optionally - LED display.
