Rupture Disk (Bursting disc)

Rupture disk is a differential pressure metallic preformed device. It is destined to protect diverse equipment, boilers, tanks and other installations from possible temporary overpressure or vacuum. The rupture disk (bursting disc) has a very short reaction time (in the order of milliseconds): it releases the occurring overpressure by opening completely (rupture).
