Magnetostrictive level transducers / transmitters

Level magnetostrictive sensors are somewhat alike to float sensors. That means a floating element enclosing a sealed permanent magnet moves up and down on a special rod, within which there is a sealed magnetostrictive wire.


Level magnetostrictive transducers are ideal devices for measuring with high precision the liquid level in a wide variety of storing and maritime transportation containers.
These sensors need a correct, suitable, choice of the respective float element, as a function of the liquid density. So, when choosing the float and materials for level magnetostrictive sensors, the same rules shall be observed as those ones generally recommended for magnetic and mechanical level sensors with floating element.
