End-of-line explosion-proof (anti deflagrant) flame arresters

They are explosion-proof (anti deflagrant) under atmospheric pressure conditions.
They are mounted on unpressurised vessels, containers or tanks. For safety reasons, enduring combustion shall necessarily be avoided.
The flame arrester shall be installed onto the short time vapour release line. The protective equipment hinders flame propagation from the atmospheric explosion spot to the interior of the tank.
One major advantage consists in maintenance ease, since no special device or consumable material is necessary.
They are located in hazardous explosion risk areas: refineries, fuel storage plants, chemical - or pharmaceutical industry units.
Selection of the appropriate type for a specific application is made as a function of the actual process parameters and the explosion proof classification of stored working fluid.
According to specific requirements, the flame arrester may be equipped with temperature transducer allowing permanent monitoring. In case of over-temperature, the operator is warned, so he can take proper measures.
